Teachers from Maribor tested our learning content in the classroom with their students .

More than a hundred teachers involved in training at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Maribor, for the role of School IT Organizer have tested the Orange program. They have successfully implemented one of the sample lessons proposed on our website, either in the classroom or in their team, as part of the e-learning exercises.

They highlighted a number of benefits of Orange that they have observed during their use of the program. They were particularly impressed with the video guides, as they helped them to understand and use the program. They also praised the pre-made databases which made their work easier. The teachers added that it was very useful to be able to use the program in Slovene, which is crucial for its easy integration into the school curriculum and for the use by younger students. Many teachers promised to spend more time during the holidays researching and finding new ideas for using Orange in the classroom.

In addition to these technical advantages, the teachers have also identified a number of other positive effects. Students showed great motivation to learn and were happy to participate in using Orange. There was also a noticeable mutual help between students - those who quickly understood how to use the software kindly helped their classmates to understand and make use of its functionalities.

The Orange program enables students to achieve the objectives of school subjects, and learn to work with data in an innovative way. The successful use of the program in education confirms its value and brings new opportunities to develop competences in data mining already in primary and secondary schools.
