Teaching with a Dash of AI is a project that aims to develop ten AI-based lessons for primary and secondary schools. Each lesson presents a topic from the curriculum of one school subject, such as biology, Slovenian, geography, and explains the material using machine learning and data mining techniques.

To develop quality learning content, we need the help of experienced teachers. For this reason, we will organize workshops for teachers, to teach them about artificial intelligence, so they can then help us with tips on how to apply these methods in the subjects they teach.

67 teachers from more than 50 schools from all over Slovenia have responded to a questionnaire in which teachers could express their interest in taking part in the project. Most were from primary and secondary schools, but there were also a few head teachers and staff from the Education Service.

Our next task now is to create four teacher workshops, where we will present the key concepts of AI and demonstrate them using real data.
