We are a team of computer scientists, professors, researchers, and students passionate about teaching artificial intelligence. Most of the time, you can find us in the Laboratory for Bioinformatics at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, where we develop Orange, a tool we frequently use in education.

Over the past decades (has it really been that long?), we have conducted hundreds of workshops and training sessions for teachers, students, professionals, and the public. We always strive to translate technical jargon into simple language and make our trainings practical and intuitive. We believe that anyone can learn something about artificial intelligence, even if they don’t consider themselves tech-savvy. That’s why we’ve adapted many of our lessons into unplugged lessons.

Every workshop is tested multiple times before we share it. Sometimes ideas don’t work out, but mistakes are the best teachers. As a result, our activities come with detailed instructions for educators and insights from our own experience. But the best part? When a teacher makes an activity their own, reshaping it to fit their needs. That’s what makes us happy.
